My journalistic approach will ensure the day is captured as it happened, from behind the scenes, but without missing a single worthwhile moment. The final product will reflect your individuality, your spirit, your love, in a film that you'll be proud to share with family and friends. |
| Your input I encourage you to describe to me how you envision your edited wedding film to look and feel. That includes what you want and don't want filmed, things to look for and things to avoid, the type of music you prefer, even request specific songs you'd like to hear. I will do my best to accomodate your requirements. You can rest assured that through the experience gained at the hundreds of various weddings I attended, you are getting a videographer well-versed in wedding etiquette, and one that has the know-how. That includes the awareness of the different faiths and traditions, the ability to work with the officiants, photographers, DJ's, and one that can do it all while remaining unobtrusive. |
The process Once you have chosen nexxid to capture your wedding day, I recommend booking as soon as possible. That can be done in person, or online. I require a deposit of $300 CDN, and a signed contract to secure the date. The deposit can be paid online by credit card, or by cheque/cash. Additionally, you can download and print the contract, fill it out, and fax it to (519) 754-0226. A week prior to the event, I will require a detailed itinerary of the day. An unedited video will be given to you at the end of the night on MiniDV tapes, or the raw footage will be transferred to DVD within a week, depending on the package you selected. Edited videos will be delivered as soon as completed, usually within 90 days, also depending on the package selected. The balance is due once the product is completed and ready to be shipped/picked up. |
| What we DON'T offer Amateur or mediocre filming approach, shaky footage, low quality audio, cheesy editing, tacky flying graphics. We also don't ask you to do anything - we don't choreograph anyone - all footage is candid and natural (except for the photoshoot footage, as required). We will not bring in any heavy equipment, we will not re-wire the church or the hall, we will not blind you with stadium-intensity lighting. If you are looking for any of the above, please continue your search elsewhere... :-)
